This cel is of Thundarr on his steed, from the Season 1 episode titled "Secret of the Black Pearl". In this classic scene Thundarr gets ready to "Ride"!
Thundarr the Barbarian is my personal favorite post apocalyptic feature. His world is of "Savagery, Super Science, and Sorcery" featuring a lone barbarian who escapes from slavery to fight for justice in the year 3994.
Thundarr did 21 half-hour episodes 13 in Season 1 and 8 in Season 2 and was produced by Ruby-Spears Productions. These cels came up for sale 1 time in 2004 and have not been seen since. All the cels you see are from that single pocket of cels which were unearthed.
