This is a beautiful 3/4 shot of ULYSSES. This cel looks to be a stock shot used in Episode 1 Vengeance of the Gods, Episode 2 "The Lost Planet and episode 5 The Eternal Punishment. Note the screen caps from each episode below. The animators did a geat job bringing him to life, see as ULYSSES steel blue eyes appear to rip through the cel.
In this scene we find Ulysses whos has fallen in the core of a desert planet after being tricked by the gods captive Sisyphus. Sisyphus steals Ulysses shuttle and trys to leave Ulysses on the desert planet to take his place .
This series is one of the most difficult to find, so adding this cel brings me both a great deal of satisfaction & debt!!
