This is a season 1 hand painted model cel of Ironhide. Note the animator intentionally depicted the battle platform to the side of Ironhide. This platform, never seen in the cartoon, was essentially the "top half" of the Ironhide toy. Interestingly, Ratchet, made from the same mold, was shown with his platform (a medical station?) at least once in the cartoon.
The hand painted model cels of the core characters are as rare as the production animation. This is a nice additon to my model section.
